Description:
Inspired by an English style bitter, but that is really where the similarities end. Light to medium in body with a complex malt profile derived from high quality Maris Otter barley malt, and the additions of melanoidin, honey and victory malts. Bittered just to the point of offsetting that malty sweetness with New Zealand Pacific Gem and and late addition of Czech Saaz, lending a hint of woody dryness and spicy aromas. Fermented with a London ale yeast for balanced mineral and fruity notes.
Brewer: Against the Grain Brewery
Style: English Pale Ale
Alcohol Content: 4.6%
Seasonal: No
