Description:
A medium bodied black ale that gets its name from the Bismarck Grove in what is now North Lawrence, that played host to horse races, fairs, and National Temperance meetings from 1878 to 1900. Bismarck features an experimental hop variety (Exp. 06300) that contributes hints of coconut and orange peel while Simcoe and Chinook hops play off the pepperiness of the rye malt. O.G. 1.056.
