5.3% "session IPA" made with a large quantity of hops like we put into our IPAs. This imparts a big hop bitterness, flavor and aromas that you hop lovers expect in an IPA, but without the high alcohol. This combination is what we are calling a "session IPA". We plan to brew other session IPAs in the future. Tube Rye-der Rye Session IPA has a complex rye spicy malt character as its foundation. We layer hop aromas and flavors that impart passion fruit, stone fruit and some grapefruit/citrus characters. The combination of rye spiciness with these fruity flavors gives your palate a lot of complexity without the high alcohol that prevents some from enjoying multiple pints.
