Free State Great Sir Grätzer

Brewer: Free State Brewing Company
Style: Grodziskie / Grätzer / Lichtenhainer
Alcohol Content: N/A
Seasonal: No

Description:
Stupid name, but a good pronunciation guide. Great Sir is how you say Gratzer. This was, historically, a popular style of beer in Poland that fell out of favor in the 80’s and stopped being commercially available in Poland in the early 90’s. Made with 100% Oak Smoked Wheat Malt and significantly hopped, this ale exhibits great range in flavor with meaty flavors of smoked malt and the herbal and spicy character of Saaz hops. Very low in strength and body and highly carbonated. 7.0 P/1.028 28 IBUs
