Brewed in collaboration with Bazi Bierbrasseri for their 2nd anniversary, this Belgian Farmhouse style had 8 gallons of black currant puree added at the end of fermentation. It has a fruity aroma and flavor, finishing slightly tart and spicy. It was named Forbidden Fruit due to the restrictions of growing black currants in the U.S. during the 20th century; those restrictions have since been lifted and black currants can now be grown in OR, NY, VT and CT.
