RateBeer.com -- Correct Buffalo Bills Alimony AleBuffalo Bills Alimony Ale

First produced in 1987 for a customer going through a divorce, Alimony Ale was one of the first craft IPA’s. It gained cult status after articles appeared in Newsweek and Playboy. This brew has a pleasing and robust hop aroma with a balanced malt character and just the right amount of citrus, pine, and fruity esters. It has a rich malt character that’s balanced by the bitterness of magnum hops and the aromatics of cascade hops. “It’s irreconcilably different”.
Brewer: Buffalo Bills Brewery
Style: India Pale Ale (IPA)
