Over a year in the making, this extraordinary beer was inspired by the Flemish Brown style. Finished brown ale was aged in a wood cask and underwent a second "wild" fermentation. An intense acidity along with the wood and malt give sharp unripe raspberry and tart cherry flavors. If you are unfamiliar with this style, please ask your server for a taste. 2009 release is 6.7%, previous release was 5.8%.
