Description:
[Translated from the Dutch on the brewery website]
Black is a special beer. The beer was born from a taste memory. A memory of a tour of Yorkshire in the 1970s, and of beers like Theakston’s Old Peculier. Black was developed with British brewmaster Ian Ward from the inspirational experiences of 30 years ago. With Ardennes spring water, Belgian malts, English hops, a slightly higher alcohol content, lightly carbonated and brewed the English way: the perfect example of a mixed marriage. Drink Black cool but not cold (8-12°C), preferably from the special Brasserie de Bellevaux glass. Store in a cool place. Black will come into its own matched with hearty dishes such as meat stews and ’stampot’. Black is available in 330ml bottles year round and in festive 750ml bottles in the Christmas season.
