Stronger and subsequently hoppier than our Fish On! IPA our Double IPA weighs in at 8.5% alcohol and about 100 IBUs and showcases high alpha American hop varieties such as Chinook, Centennial, Columbus, Simcoe, etc. Boasting a higher aroma this ale isn't as bitter as you might expect as the high gravity lends some sweetness which balances nicely. The hop flavor and aroma take over and the finish is decidedly hoppy with noted of Pine and Citrus.
