Heading to Cooperstown

buddy of mine is flying in for 3 days. One of which will be spent at the Hall Of Fame. The other 2 days will be brewery visits. I’ll be starting on Long Island and heading to Brooklyn before going upstate. Anybody know of a good route that hits as many breweries as possible?

Make sure you stop in Ommegang while there. Great place to visit. You just walk in and you’re on the floor. They have hourly tours, and a tasting afterward. Since it’s usually some college kid pouring, you can hang there all day, while they ply you with numerous Ommegang beers, as well as crackers, cheese and chocolate.

Just slightly down the road from there is the Cooperstown Brewery. Definitely worth a stop since you’re in the neighborhood.

All establishments in Cooperstown serve these beers as well.

Just so everyone knows, the beermapping site is excellent! After generating a map with what they had available, I added some other stops in and came away with a fantastic trip planner!
