Just kicking off the new monthly thread.

Admin please pin the thread.

Got no beer gen to report as it’s the first Monday of the month and I’m in the office!

Anyone know if there was much left at CBC after the weekends festivities?

I would guess some of those big beers might still be on. They were expensive and strong so can’t see people sessioning them. Kernel BA Brown, Dugges Idjit, Against The Grain/De Molen - Bo and Luke. This is pure guesswork mind! I think Ian drank all the Creme Brulee!

Also the brochure says ’and many, many more...’

Plus if you have not had the Schmetterling Gose’ you owe it to yourself to have half to see just how bad a beer can be!

Overall - brilliant 2nd Birthday!

Dunno about ’beer about town’ - Old Fountain, Brewdog Shoreditch and the Dean Swift keep tweeting their lunch menus!!

Guys - your craft beer pubs - I don’t give a flying fig what your lunch menu is! Tell us about the beer!

Yeah, that is a good deal. In a major US city you could expect to pay at least $6+ per pint (and I believe pints are smaller in the US, yeah?) plus the standard $1 tip and you’re looking at a comparable price.

The Partizan Pale Ale Cascade Williamette - sold out at the brewery - is available at the Cock Tavern. I had the last bottle from the fridge but I believe they had a few of these in stock.

Also at the Cock T is Howling Hops Pale Wit No 1 - 4.5%. Nelson Sauvin Amarillo. This is the same beer at Wit IPA. Staff confirmed.

And lastly the new Riding Light beer is on cask. There are another 15 casks by all accounts so no panic buttons for this one!
