One of the top places for beer in Aalborg - which, unfortunately, isn’t saying much. The place seems to be avolving quite a bit right now, and they’re starting to rotate some pretty good beers here - recently Mikkeller Boogoop, Saison Dupont Dryhopped, Rogue Shakespeare Stout, last couple of times I’ve been there, they had fresh stuff from Ugly Duck which was very tasty. They have a few interesting bottles like Pannepot, a couple of good IPA’s and some Maui cans, but not very large. Taps are and bottles are mostly boring English ales and a few Danish beers from run of the mill breweries. Prices are a bit steep, especially on the good beers from good micro breweries. But things are moving in the right direction, and you can always go grab a good beer here.

Classic British local, and I would bet a pound sterling that the barkeep is from the UK. Nice selection of British beers, as you would expect, but also a handful from some of the newer Danish micros. Worth a stop for sure.

Very inclusive pub, knowledgeble and cheerful staff. Good selection on tap, and an impressive bottle selection as well. Good mix of clients, a down to eart place, great place for a beer in the afternoon.

great and friendly service, decent selection, seems they change their tap content rather regularly, which is always a plus in my book. when I’m in Aalborg again, I’ll be sure to drop by.

Nice english style pub in the center of town. Classic old pub style indoors, nice big outdoor serving with a overlook at the fjord and harbour. Around 12 taps of mainly british beers, aswell as some danish microes. Good botlle selection with english, belgium and danish beers. Service was good and helpfull, but not to knowable about the beer. Was offered tasters before buying tho.

Nice place, the barmaid wasn’t an expert in beers, but kind and gave an acceptable amount of information about the beers. Nice ambiance, nice out-door serving. Good selection of beers. Try it, if you are near Aalborg.

Nice pub located near the water. Nice draught selection and very freindly staff. Have some not to easy to find bottles but nothing I hadent rated, but yet again I am getting difficult at age.... Ridgeway IPA a pleasent suprice.

A pub like many others. Main focus is obviously on English Beer, but they also have a little Danish Micro as well as some Belgian bottles. Good atmosphere and sport on the TV. They have a lovely outdoor serving area on the square with a view over the fjord.
