A small, well lit space serving (almost) exclusively Danish craft beers on tap. Popular with students. Nice selection of beers from breweries you won’t find elsewhere. Prices are rather high and the half-sized pours are a bit of a ripoff. The staff is sort of a mixed bag, they are volunteers and often don’t have much experience in bar tending. At least twice I’ve been served beer that had spoiled. They have live music of varying styles (though mostly pop) about twice a week. A nice spot to relax and have a nice beer.

Fairbar offers a small range of craft beer. The stuff that’s on tap is often very nice though. Small bottle collection with some nice Cantillon stuff etc. Main problem with fairbar is that it’s just too small. Sadly. If the place was bigger and had more taps I’d go there so much more. Ambiance is nice, snacks and food is very good, friendly staff, good music and a nice overall feel to it - too small though.

I’ve only been in there a few times, never really felt like it was the place for me. The place is very small and therefore often very cramped. The service could be better, and the staff don’t often know what they are selling. The prices are reasonable though.

A small cozy café/bar very close to the city center. Being that the bartenders are volunteers, the beerknowledge varies, but the beerselection is often pretty decent, considering there is only 10 taps.

Small cafe like bar with about 12 taps, and a few bottles. Selection is rather hit or miss, sometimes very good ie. Mikkeller, Amager etc, or rather midicore. House stables of late is Indslev, Humleland. A sampler set of 5 beers and some peanuts for 85 dkr is avaiable, aswell as tasters offered before you buy. Very friendly and helpfull service, but since it concists of volenteers beerknowledge isnt to good. I like the concept of this place, all fonds from here goes to charity, but i see myself visiting less and less lately. Mainly due to the opening of Fermentoren, but the very expensive prices doesnt help either.

Decent location close to the center of Aarhus. Pretty small place, that is often full. 12 taps, some bottles and good selection of coffee and food. Lots of concerts on a small stage here as well. I’ve been here a lot of times, and the quality of the selection varies a lot. Staff is sometimes knowledgable, but since they are all volunteers, and has to keep track on both food, coffee and beers, they are not necessarily very knowledgeable. Young and friendly people though! Last night, there was a great tap takeover with Mikkeller and To Øl, with world premieres and stuff, and it was overall a great event. Fine prices and good food.

Honestly walked in and right out of here. Very warm, didn’t appreciate the music, also draft list was exotic however nothing I could even want considering our group felt very out of place. Would try again considering really close to fermentorem.

Excellent place in Aarhus to get craft beer. You can get flights of 5 beers for 75 dkk, haven’t seen that other places in town. Prices are fair and the selection excellent. Often running events with tap takeovers.

Located on the edge of the Latin Quarter in Aarhus, this beer bar caters for modern, beer conscious clientele. The interior is equipped with some modern, sometimes funky furniture, which is still within the limits of ordinary relaxation and coziness. The selection is rather small but decent, including decent or good Danish craft beer. The staff do possess some knowledge of beer but seem to consist of volunteers, not paid experts (at least that was my impression when I visited the place on a quite Sunday afternoon with yespr, and we were the only guests). Samples of 5 beers on tap are available at a very reasonable price. Might want to come back again when in Aarhus.

Nice little YMCA charity run spot. The staff is volunteers, but will gives out tasters. Customers are a good mix of beer entusiast and knitting girls :-). SOme great tap-takeovers occasionally
