Allegedly the oldest pub in Aberdeen, the snug is certainly worth sitting in. Two cask ales available, one of which was the ever reliable Dark Island. The second best pub I visited in Aberdeen after the Grill Inn.

Old school bar, mainly trading on past glories and dumbed down severely by Greene King ownership. The snug bar is wirthy of a look if you happen to be about on the couple of hours a week it is open.

Popular old pub, appears to be big on food, served all day. I did not eat there though. 4 handpumps, but only 2 cask ales were on. I had a pint of Inveralmond Ossian.

Old traditional pub run by Belhaven. Lots of different areas in the pub to sit in including a roof top beer garden in summer and the small snug bar. Serves traditional pub food and shows live sports. 4 cask ales from Inveralmond and Belhaven though there is better keg and bottled beers (Brewdog, Blue Moon, Weihenstaphen)

This modern café pub, just off the busy Belmont Street, is listed as a heritage pub because it has got some original unscathed rooms from the 1920s. They only opens in the afternoon, I was informed. I just had a look at the cozy old fashioned snug to the left of the entrance. Otherwise, it is a comprehensive, airy, wood panelled place with four cask ales added by a fairly limited range of craft beers on keg and in bottles. Polite, inattentive service. Background music from Peter Gabriel (visited early in the afternoon 19.04.2016).

We sat in snug which was surprisingly empty on Sat night. Nice historic atmosphere. Otherwise the place is a maze. Old men having a lager. 3 casks. One run out. Some taps too.

A rather ho hum bar in Central Aberdeen. Three cask ales at the best of times; I think there was only one on during my visit (which was on a Sunday afternoon, to be fair). A large range of macro kegs, too, that includes the Belhaven Scottish Stout, which was new for me. The layout of this bar is somewhat maze-like, so there you go. There’s a definite emphasis on sports games here, with numerous TVs and schedules posted all over the place. Quite close to The Prince of Wales, so I would go there instead of here if you have the choice.

Ma Camerons is a busy Belhaven tie-in pub located in Aberdeen town centre. Interior is pretty nice - lots of nooks and crannies (alcoves?) to hide away in. Beer selection isn’t particularly great. Three hand pumps are on offer with the usual suspects from Belhaven and Caledonian. Can get overly busy when the footballs on, as they show it on the big screens. So-so.

Seems to be a popular public bar, but the limited cask ale selection is rather boring. Drop in early to see the old snug before it gets to crowded. The "snug", a small sitting room, is old styled, wood-panelled, with bench seating and a hatch for service. Nice! (Visited December 3rd 2011)
