It’s another Peckhams, this time in a train station mall. This chain used to have a broader range of beer but now it’s a bit more patchy. The cool thing is that you can get the beer for the retail cost plus a pound which is pretty good.

What is going on? Since my last stay in Aberdeen in March, Peckhams in Union street is closed down, and the beer selection here at Union Square is a disaster! I was met by nearly empty shelves. Hardly any interesting beer to find. Only two ordinary beer from BrewDog and very few real Scottish ales. How many different bottles? I will rather guess 25+ than 100+ (Visited August 5th 2011)

A purveyor of premium food and beverages in the Union Square shopping centre, Aberdeen. Interesting and fairly extensive selection of mainly Scottish brews, but there are also international beers. The stock rotates quite regularly, but you can expect to see Brewdog, Harvistoun and Stewart beers on offer. Not the cheapest place in Aberdeen, but not bad by London standards (that I’m used to) There is also lots of interesting food to match with your beverage of choice. Well worth a visit.

Delicatessen at Aberdeen Railway station with a good selection of botltled beers. Very helpful & friendly staff but a bit pricey.
