This is the complete opposite from the Brau haus, no smoking at the bar, and the cafe was then split into no smoking or smoking. Good range of Belgian beers on tap and in the chillers, the food was reasonable as well.

Woohoo! Belgian beer in the alcohol desert. This place has really mediocre frites, acceptable mussels, okay service, lots of douchey americans, and BELGIAN BEER. I was hoping for something really solid like Orval, but they had lots of other good, exemplary examples of good belgian styles, like Duvel and Karmeliet. Mostly the more macro-leaning stuff on draft, like Leffe and Hoegaarden. A couple of Timmerman’s lambics, including the gueze. Prices are expectedly high. But, really...when you want a Duvel, this is THE place to go in AD.
