Sports bar type atmosphere. Large u-shaped bar with glass chillers built in to the bar top and multiple TVs directly above the bar. Decent food menu with reasonable prices. The beer is average to good. One thing that did stand out was the impy stout did go very nice with a slice of cherry cheesecake for desert. This was actually suggested by the waitress after I ordered the impy stout and was pondering over the desert menu. Staff was very friendly and responsive.

Located in strip mall hell but has a nice dark, proper bar feel on the inside. If you sit at the bar, there are glass chillers, which are gimmicky but really neat and effective--supplanting the temptation to freeze the glasses. The black IPA and the impy were both nice.

A new pub location for, obviously, Sierra Blanca beers, and they also have a couple small-batch one-offs that they brew on site. Not too familiar with the Sierra Blanca amalgamation of beers, but seemed like all the regulars were on tap, and maybe a new beer or two or a couple seasonals, not really sure, but there are plenty to choose from either way. Beer quality sort of all over the board, but nothing really off-putting or flawed. The effort here is to create a holistic pub in the vein of Chama River with a high end selection of all beverages and interesting food, and overall they succeed, though not surprisingly not living up to their apparent role model. The plus though is that it’s not as expensive as Chama, including a bunch of great happy hour deals. Setting is upscale sports bar. Another nice spot in ABQ.

This is a great new brewpub in uptown Albuquerque. It has a slight sports bar-ish feel to it, a large wrap-around bar with 4 TVs directly over it. There are small cooling discs on top of the bar to keep your beer cold for you. Pretty large tap list- definitely >10, like 15-20. A mix of good beers to ok to not-so-good, but mostly good stuff. They have your typical pub fare; I got the wings which were very tasty. Great great deals though, some of the best I’ve seen. On Mondays, all beers are $2. Happy hour is M-F like 3-6 pm, $1 off all beers, half price appetizers and tapas. On Wed they have half off all of their wine bottles. So if you time your visit, it is a great deal! I think they have other specials too that I can’t remember. Bottom line, a fun chill place to enjoy some good beer for cheap!
