Service is great if the boss himself is there, he knows his beers. Had a great conversation once with him about hunting the Paasij (unfortunately no luck). Selection isn’t very broad but once in a while he has some beers that you won’t find in many more places. I wouldn’t go on a pilgrimage to this site if you’re from outside the city but if you live in De Pijp like I do you might be pleasantly surprised. He has almost all the ’t IJ beers, a few trappists and some German lagers and more.

I’ve been going to this Slijterij for years, located in De Pijp, where I used to live. They always have random beers that I don’t see anywhere else from Germany or the Netherlands. Harder to find new beers there now for me but a pretty obscure collection in a standard bottle shop.
