| Sledutah (151), Utah | | February 21, 2012 Went on a Monday night (~6pm) only a few tables occupied in the restaurant and only 1 guy at the bar with a glass of wine in front of him. That should have been a big sign to turn around and leave. I ordered a sampler of what they had on tap. The bartender leaves it in front of me and leaves without a word and disappeared. Pretty easy to figure them out without a problem. The last beer on the menu is called "Roggenbier". The bartender finally comes back and I ask him about it, asking if it was a Black IPA. He say’s ’no’ it is a brown ale but tells me they are out of that beer, the new beer is named Black IPA. Two managers were BS’ing near me the whole time I was there and neither said anything about what was going on even though they could hear our conversation and my disbelief about the whole experience. The place was dark and dreary. I bet at one time it was a nice place. I liked the bar in the middle of restaurant and the glass windows showing the kitchen. | | Ungstrup (335), Oamaru, New Zealand | | November 4, 2010 We came around 9 PM and were afraid that the place was closed, since the teinted window hid the inside lighting. But fortunately it was open, even though the place was practically empty on a Sunday night. Anyways we were served the six housebrew they had on tap - really fancied the IPA. The place is modernly brewpub decorated with lots of stone, wood, and metal. Huge bar area. | | buenosdiaz (10), California | | June 1, 2010 Good, not great. | | hopdog (220), Lansdale, Pennsylvania | | December 8, 2008 Another brew pub that I stopped by after spending a day at Disneyland. About a 15 minute drive. I made sure there were no sporting events going on as it is located right across from a sporting venue. 6 beers on tap. Nothing too memorable with a Honey Ale as their seasonal - at winter time too. Food was fine...I just ordered a burger. Service was good, but then again, when I was there, they were not very busy at all. I could see, maybe, coming here before a Hockey Game, but not really going out of my way to make it here. | | JohnC (137), Mission Viejo, California | | November 21, 2008 Went here before a Ducks game. The beer was pricey and average. Very big place, roomy, noisey and the time I was there, jam packed | | Hophead22 (60), Redlands, by way of Wisconsin,, California | | July 5, 2008 Nice place, pretty big. Big wrap around bar, nice patio area. Couple of big conference rooms for big parties. Beer is nothing special. Can always find someone selling Duck or Angel tickets if in season.Pretty neat | | suddenlyissoon (13), Chattanooga, Tennessee | | May 2, 2008 I stopped in at JT Schmids right when it opened during the middle of the week. The place is very nice inside and I could see where it would be an active place at night. I enjoyed the Hefeweizen and Amber Ale’s unlike a lot of other reviewers. The IPA was also pretty nice. | | swoopjones (190), Buffalo, New York | | December 12, 2007 right across from the Duck Pond. Pretty modern looking place. Got quite busy before the Ducks game. Beer was Ok . The stout & IPA were ok the others piss poor. Worthy of a stop if going to a hockey game. Menu had some nice sounding things but didn t eat | | BBB63 (120), La Porte , Indiana | | December 4, 2007 OC post SAF tour: Across from the Anaheim Pond (hockey stadium) and some guy was scalping tickets as we went in. The layout itself is great and large with neat glass window into the kitchen area. We drank at the centrally located bar. The beers themselves ranged from poor to good. I would stop here if in the area. Did not try the food. | | mnurda (56), Winnipeg, Manitoba | | May 8, 2006 Very nice place. Well decorated. Had the beer sampler. Liked the IPA. Sat outside. Great patio. Would eb a fun place when there is a game on. |
