Visited this joint 2x. First was to just check it out, and then we came in for a late lunch another day. Place is big and open with high ceilings, a bit cold feeling considering the traditional vibe of Alaska. The bar area was much more warm. As said below, 36 taps and 27 to 30 are Alaskan beers. A great one-stop shop for everything Alaskan. Food portions were large, my buddy couldn’t even finish his calzone. Glacier brews Red Hot Mama for these guys including Oak Aged Hot Mama which was fantastic. If on the southside it’s pretty much the place to hit before or after Midnight Sun. Def will be going back and I wish them good fortunes in the biz.

The ambiance is great, it’s new, clean and the high ceilings create a great space. The place was packed so we sat at the bar. We got great service. Selection is great, 36 beers on tap, probably about 30 beers from Alaska out of those 36. Food was great, the wood fired oven is a nice touch. Value is ok, pints were a bit higher than most places in town. Overall a nice place in the South side of Anchorage. The only bad thing I could say is that with 36 beers on tap I would like to see a little more variety.
