| BrewDad (359), Olympia, Washington | | March 15, 2012 Supper beer selection. But at times it is hard to find beers that they sell in singles. | | CheersMate (132), Fremont (Seattle), Washington | | February 23, 2012 This is right next to a Michael’s and a sporting goods store. Kind of an odd location, but it didn’t bother me, as I was able to pick up a gun for hunting, and yarn for when I’m waiting to pick-off my next elk, moose, or bear. The selection was fantastic. There seems to be a lot of wasted space here, but quite honestly, I don’t give a shit about the guys business model. There was a lot of untouched stuff here that should be paid attention to. I can’t believe that this falls behind Brown Jug Warehouse. Sure, the ambiance isn’t great, but damn, what a selection. The prices seemed to be ok. I beginning to think some of you subscribe more to the ambiance more than anything else. I’m fond of this place, and would definitely go back, if and when, I come back to Anchorage. | | nbutler11 (226), Phoenix, Arizona | | June 19, 2010 Huge bottle shop -- especially by Alaskan standards. Great deals on Midnight Sun when I was there; including bottles that weren’t at the brewery. Helpful service. Good place to stock up at. | | bvc (39), Kenmore, Washington | | January 18, 2010 Located just off the highway in a huge strip mall front with tons of parking. Walking in, it is huge. Registers, shopping carts and small displays up front. Down the right side are coolers housing the beer. Just in front of the coolers are stacked cases of larger format bottles. Good selection and plenty of Midnight Sun offerings. Prices seem to be inline with the other liquors stores around town. They did have a good mead selection also, but couldn’t comment on the liquor as i wasn’t shopping for any. i would have to imagine though that it is pretty good given the size of this place. It was the largest of all the ones we hit in town. | | savnac (155), Anchorage, Alaska | | March 26, 2009 [ Updated April 22, 2009 ] Huge place. I love liquor stores that have shopping carts. Decent prices, they will run sales on a wide variety of beer including micros and imports. Massive selection, they probably have the largest selection of micros and imported beers including Belgium. |
