Stopped by on a Saturday afternoon. sucks that this place closes at 8pm. The place is a bit hard to find. Its hidden in an industrial park behind a Home depot. Newish location with a loft area to dine and drink. did not eat there but the menu looks interesting. Selection was pretty big and had a variety of different stlyes. Lots of rare beers either on tap or in bombers. Service was good and ambience too. Overall a must hit place.

Totally awesome place a must see and drink. The beers are off the hook perfect. The food is very good and this place can and will get crowded in the evenings. Thursday are Firkin days go at 5pm to see the fool tap the cask and get sprayed.

Wow, this place was pretty cool. The restaurant/bar is upstairs. When you first walk in, you’re hit with what appears to be an adjacent tasting room to the brewery. Upon walking up the stairs, you’re hit with a restaurant, and a nice wall of taps straight ahead. My advice, for the travelers that are there to take something home with you, pay attention to little double-door cooler up and to your left, towards the exit door; this little fridge had two 50 oz. bottles of stuff that I’m taking home with me. The tap selection was awesome; there was plenty of stuff that I haven’t seen anywhere else, so needless to say, I’m thoroughly impressed. The servers at the bar were prompt, and very kind. The servers for food were not as prompt, but still very nice. The food was pretty good, and this was just a nice place. I didn’t notice any televisions, which I like. Just had some great conversation with my co-works. Pretty nice place, and you can tell that the locals love it.

midnight sun is a local favorite and great for visitors as well, they carry a wide selection of beer on tap, 22 ounce bottles that are no longer availiable on tap, they fill growlers, and recently started canning their Sockeye Red IPA. they dont have a ton of room but it is nice to sit outside on a sunny day with a few friends. they have really decent food as well, they make the second best carne asada tacos in town the best pretzels with beer mustard, and a great hot beef sandwich (just 3 of many choices on the menu). it gets very busy on friday and saturday but nothing out of control, if you dont mind to stand and drink until a seat is freed up. the staff is very friendly and knowledgeable, they are true beer lovers as well and will tell exactly what they think of a specific beer. overall it is a great place to go and a place i try to get to at least once a week(it does help that i work within walking distance).

This place is tucked away in an industrial area but is worth the trip. They had many of their beers on tap and a big selection of bottles for purchase. Very friendly and helpful staff. I had a nice gourmet sandwich and the rest of the menu looked intriguing. We didn’t stock around for the brewery tour, but the brewery is downstairs. Neat place.

It’s definitely worth making the pilgramage to the south side for this place. 16 beers on tap plus " dusty" bottles from 2007 and later. And bottles to go. And very tasty food. And friendly, efficient, helpful staff. Love it.

Not very easy to find, but once you get to it you will not be disappointed. The tap room upstairs offers a good number of beers in various size glasses. The food was good too. Clean and well managed. A must visit if you’re in town.

Located in a purely industrial area, it is clear that most people drive there, it is nevertheless accessible on foot (#2 bus can take you there from downtown). Small, modern, minimalistic, informal second floor ’beer loft’ where people line up to buy beer to go and where you can sit down and try the products. Small food menu, good food though (excellent taco special on Tue). Attentive service. No charge for samples.

Spotted 18 taps behind long bar with no stools. Dozen small aluminum and light wood tables and chairs in second floor loft area. Great view mountains if you ignore the industrial equipment and warehouses in the neighborhood. no smoking. Beer magazines around. Well lit with brightly painted walls with beer posters and framed beer paintings. Light food of sandwiches and daily specials, including green chili and posole! Popular place on weekends. $20+ taxi ride from downtown. Great beer selection. Brewery and small sales office on ground floor. Elevator available. Slow WiFi. Tours Thursdays.

Crazy selection of their beers. Since I can’t get them all the time I was surprised to see Gluttony still available, and it tasted fresh! Not sure if they’re re-brewing some of their older beers. Had the brewer’s platter w/ meat. Very tasty and quite a bit of food, good to share for 2. They limit total pours to 36 oz so my buddy and I split up as many tasters as we could to cover most of what they had on tap. I pretty much enjoyed most of their beer, which is a very rare treat. MSBC is the real deal and I hope they do very well in the future. Esp with expanded distrobution down to San Diego.
