I visited 2 times (2 days apart) and had completely different experiences. The first time I sat at the bar. Fast and friendly service. When leaving town we stopped and got a table because there was 3 of us and we needed the chargers. The server was friendly but slow and didnít have a clue. She messed up our orders, but instead of fixing the problem she blamed the mix up on us and left us sitting at the table without getting the correct beers! We finally sat at the bar and got things straightened out. We werenít the only ones having problems with the same server. Moral of the story: Sit at the bar if you go here.
The beer was average. Nothing stood out as overly good.
They do have a nice little bottle shop that you can (and I did) buy beer to take with you on the plane. Midnight Sun, Anchorage Brewing, Silver Gulch and others.... Growlers also.

Solid beers, good variety, and an attached beer store with house growlers, as well as bottles from other Alaskan breweries plus Celestial meads. Itís after security, so you can even take your purchases on the plane. Good airport bar.

Of the two places in Ted Stevens Airport, this was the better by far. They had a strong range of Silver Gulch beers, which were generally good product. The store is great - you can buy a wide range of bottles of beer, mead and spirits to take with you on the plane. You can even do growlers to take on the plane, something Iíve never seen before. That bumps the overall score, as otherwise itís just an airport pub.

Cool place in the airport past security. Bar and restaurant is nice, new and clean. Service can be good or bad, have had some really shitty pours on pints and growlers and have heard some people giving out horrible descriptions and advice. Decent selection of Silver Gulch beers, some that we arenít used to seeing in Anchorage. Havenít tried the food but Iíve heard mixed reviews. Prices are not too bad considering itís in the Anchorage airport (see Humpyís airport place). You can get mini growlers and full growlers to go, although you arenít supposed to drink them on the plane, lolís.

Stopped by hear waiting for a flight. They have a great thing going where you can buy growlers and beers to go. Its inside security so no worries about having to dump your new purchased goodies. They sell other local beers in their store as well. You can purchase tasters for half price or full pints.
Second visit enjoy some tasty appetizer that is at a reasonable airport price.
