Classy, upscale place just around the corner from Humpy’s. They had three interesting Belgians on, including Cantillon Kriek - the furthest away from its home that I have seen. Two more Danisf offerings on draft as well the moderate but smart bottle list focuses on Belgians, but includes some Unibroue an enough local stuff to keep the list interesting. Tasty food.

Hmmm...I wonder if we were in the right place. The place I was at looked nothing like the photo, but it had a Sub Zero menu, of which I took a photo of and was next to Humpy’s. 6 or so taps, including Great Divide’s Esspresso Oak Age yeti which blew 3/4 way through filling my pint so I got it for free. Woot! Also had a Manhattan, prices are very high, Belgian beer selection is impressive and they have more bottles in the cooler than are listed on the menue. A 1930’s band was singing and she was fantastic. Very mellow vibe overall, but again, expensive. Very dark wood/bar/ low lighting etc...

Went on a friday night, there were plenty of seats. Clean place, good service, friendly knowledgeable staff. Great selection of Belgian beers, but not much else. You can order Humpy’s food (not any more). The prices are really high, I realize that these are some of the best beers in the world but you can save a ton of money and just go buy the same exact stuff at the store for half the price. This is a nice place, I just couldn’t afford to go there too often.

This place was remodeled and expanded a while ago. Very nice sleek, modern, clean interior. Great service all the time. Food is very good, but mostly smaller appetizer style plates. Prices can be high on some things but fairly reasonable on others. Highly recommended.

Went on a wed. afternoon and the place was dead. Ordered a couple beers, great selection. Service was perfect, did not order any food. This is a nice, close place to try if Humpeys and McGinleys are full

Nice selection of Belgian beers, and a nice atmosphere. It was St. Patty’s day when we went, and Humpy’s next door was too crowded. We got to eat off the Humpy’s menu (try the Halibut fish and chips!!!!) and have a couple of great Belgian beers. Like with a winebar, you’ll pay dearly for the good stuff, but the waitstaff know their beer, and the food is great!. My only reservation was the Alaska-style prices to everything....I’m just not used to that.

If you’re into Belgian beer, this is *the* place to go in Anchorage. They have a huge selection, including beers from 5 of the 6 trappists (haven’t seen Westvleteren and they occasionally run out of the Westmalles). They have a giant selection of Belgians in bottles, but not much on tap (maybe a couple?). For lots of taps, try Humpy’s around the corner. Atmosphere is modern/retro, bubbly windows, brushed steel bar with ice ’river’, non-smoking. They have a decent selection of glassware (including Chimay and Rochefort glasses).
