| rcasta (13), , El Salvador | | May 8, 2012 right on s. main street. they have 11 beers on tap; not that I could suggest any of the seasonals BUT, if you like belgian, it may be worth you time. i find it hard to call these beer. don’t get fooled by the names; too many brewers are drinking the cool-aid | | slimchill (82), Austin, Texas | | May 4, 2012 Highly enjoyable experience here. I had a great bartender who was super informative. He gave me several samples and talked about his take on not only the beers on tap but even the batch-to-batch variations he’s seen. I didn’t eat, but was a really nice looking menu. | | StuartCarter (10), Alabama | | May 3, 2012 We turned up here on a busy Friday lunchtime. The waitress worked well with us to ensure that we got beers that were not available in our home state (a challenge on flights totaling 24 beers!), the food was great (the mustard was AWESOME), and it felt like the kind of place I could easily spend an afternoon whiling away the time. | | deyholla (90), Waukesha, Wisconsin | | April 27, 2012 My favorite A2 brewpub. Food and service are always solid. There is always a combination of North Peak and JP beers plus a few pub only beers. A touch expensive but definitely a must stop! | | auerbrau (232), Peace Dale, Rhode Island | | April 27, 2012 Visited here last Fall for the Lupulo de Hielo release and had a very good time. The staff is fun and the food is decent, if a bit pricey. The glassware works well for the range of style they offer and it was nice to see a range of different beers available on tap. This is a little fancy-pants as beer bars go, but I thought they did a decent job for what they were trying to achieve. | | thorongil2 (14), , Ontario | | April 26, 2012 Very good food, decent range of prices, I wish they had more Jolly Pumpkin beers on tap to try, I will definitely come back each time I am in the area | | bmerz (61), New York | | March 12, 2012 Spent an evening here for one of the most pleasant beer place visits I’ve had. What a lovely inviting establishment. I ate at the bar where the tender was super friendly and pro. The food was simple but impeccably prepared with very good ingredients. I would eat there weekly if I lived nearby. The odd thing is this brewery branded place doesn’t seem to make a big deal out of that. The beer list was limited. but that felt very right and in line with what I guess is the concept. Most beer places are very masculine and try to hit you over the head with one thing or the other. This seemed to place their very quality beer in balance with the rest what you can experience during a meal or evening. That’s respect to their beer. | | strongpieman (68), Mount Airy, Maryland | | January 6, 2012 Decent brewpub building, very good beer, food was pretty good (what I had was very limited). Service was fine -- no big upside but no issues either. It’s a little small, seems geared more for dining than drinking but that may be what they are going for at this location. A fine place for some very good and unique beer. | | msante79 (253), Mount Prospect, Illinois | | December 6, 2011 Walked over to this place after spending a couple of hours at Ashley’s. Nice brick walls and dark wood all over the place. Sat at the bar and had a couple JP brews on tap. They also had a nice variety of North Peak available as well. No one offs or tap only offering but oh well. Had the BLT which was different and really good. Picked up nice JP tulip, and they had a bunch of other JP merchandise as well. Really like the building and upscale feel. Worth a stop, just don’t expect to find anything rare of tap. | | adnielsen (277), Fort Collins, Colorado | | November 29, 2011 I didn’t end up having any food here and I was a little disappointed that there wasn’t any "special" non-bottle offerings from JP available here, but they did feature some other local brews that were evidently connected to JP in one way or another. If you’re in AA, you should stop here on a beer tour. |
