Last visit had 13 beers on tap, including 2 JP beers not yet in the rate beer data base. JP beers are a unique product and you are at the source. Nice place, food very good, staff good, beer selection well- its time for funk! To try a lot of beers will need to be in the mood for JP beers, if you are get the sampler. The JP brewer, Ron Jeffries is the funk master and a brewer on an international level. Easily the most unique beer destination in SE Michigan if not the state.

Cool, college feel to the joint. Solid selection of beer. Food selection could be better. Stopped in for Biere de Mars Grand Reserve release.

Spent a Sunday afternoon trying their beers and having lunch. Impressive beers, especially for those of us fond of complex, yeasty and sour beers. Food was great, and extremely value priced. Will stop by anytime I’m in the area.

This was a bit of a disappointment for me. I came in expecting good things but was let down by the beers and the service. :(

Stopped through on a slow afternoon. As others have mentioned, they typically don’t have anything "rare" on tap. However, I bet you can find at least one or two things you have not tried. I was surprised how many taps they devoted to North Peak beers but its nice to help out a neighbor I suppose. The service was friendly and the food was pretty good. Overall we enjoyed our stop and will most likely go back when the taps rotate seasonally.

Was very disappointed with this place. Ambiance was a bit upscale, but not really inving. Service was friendly, but not very knowledgable. Selection was very lacking. Lots of crappy peak beers, a few regular JP offerings, but not La Roja, Bier De Mars, Luciergna, just disappointing. They didn;t even have any La Roja bottles for sale. I had to buy one down the road at another brewpub! Food however was excellent and unique. Value on e food was good, beers not so much. Overall try it out and hope they have some good stuff if you’re in Ann Arbor, but don;t go out of your way.

My only complaint would be with ’selection’; the ’cafe&brewery’ (restaurant) do a disappointingly bad job offering what jolly pumpkin - the brewery - has to offer. Otherwise an awesome atmosphere, incredibly good food, and an overall good time to be had.

Neat place and surprisingly slow before the football game. Great local food selections and service. Most of the beers have slight sour notes, but that’s one of the biggest reasons to come.
