| gsmitty80 (153), Washington DC | | September 23, 2011 Its a Gordon Biersch...This one is nice and open with alot of big tvs. The service was good and the folks i was with enjoyed their food. | | lcwakshul (12), Chester, Maryland | | January 26, 2011 Above average chain restaurant with ok beer. Have only had the Marzen, which is drinkable, but kind of boring. Food is always pretty good, but nothing special. Restaurant is generally pretty busy and hard to get a table. Guess they’re doing a pretty good business, but the location is definitely ideal for an expensive chain restaurant. Lots of Annapolitans with expendable income. | | msante79 (253), Mount Prospect, Illinois | | August 8, 2010 My first stop at a Gordon Biersch. 6 german style beers on tap that all pretty well done. Nice refreshing crisp brews. Had the Mahi sandwich which was pretty good. Garlic fries were damn good. Not sure I would come back just for the beers, but would be back for a nice meal. Service was real good too. | | Braudog (611), Hampton, Virginia | | July 13, 2010 This place is a carbon copy of the Virginia Beach location, in a carbon copy of the Virginia Beach outdoor mall/condo complex that’s been built in Annapolis. That said, Gordon Biersch always delivers clean, crisp German beers and a great menu ... yes, it’s a chain, but a quality chain. (Brewery #519) | | beachbum25 (63), Powellville, Maryland | | March 29, 2009 [ Updated April 2, 2009 ] This place is in the new Annapolis Town Center. Stopped in on a nice spring Sunday afternoon when they weren’t too busy. Nice looking place, very open & airy, a lot of brick, wood & steel. Had plenty of outside seating including an outside bar which was opposite the inside bar w/2 large garage door type windows to open in the nice weather. Made for a very casual, comfortable atmosphere which reminded me of a Beach Bar. Started w/a sampler & all the beers were pretty solid, some better than others & had a few real winners. I wasn’t expecting much from a large chain brewpub when I pulled in here (having never been to one) but I was pleasantly surprised-this place was quite enjoyable. Food was good as well, nice selection; sliders I had were tasty & served on fresh baked bread. Reminded me of Iron Hill Newark, although the beers weren’t quite as good. Nice atmosphere & you can definably find something enjoyable. |
