Tourist trap

This small beer store right in Antwerp’s center is a decent option if you’re stuck shopping in the middle of Antwerp, but do not expect miracles in terms of selection. Ideally, hop in a car for nearby Grobbendonk.

Definitely tourist trap with standard Belgian beers. Anyway there were some, which I didn’t try. Staff inside wasn’t helpful at all. They have some glassware also.

I would imagine the only reason this place is on here is because they do in fact sell beers. But this place is tiny, We walking spend about 5 mins looking at the beers and walked out, nothing exciting, its only good because it is right near a tourist spot. I would go here if your just looking for a bottle to drink right there and then or if your hotel is right near by or something, I wasnt a fan

Complete tourist trap, asking way to much for there beers and the even but bottle of Westvleteren 12 in the window (in the sun !!!). There selling beer, but do not know one thing about it !

A tourist trap. yellowing labels on the beers on display, clearly the content is FU. bought a rodenbach there, they charged me as much as you would pay in a bar. to be avoided

Outrageous prices for common beers. Store that’s good for ignorant tourists.

Very central location and design to attract tourists, it seems. We bought a few beers here, but I’ll guess there are better beer shops in town than this. The arrangement of bottled beers on the shelves was very well done, but the choices so and so (visited, 29.04.2011).

A nice selection of the quite standard beers, but also had some that I hadn’t had before. In the middle of the tourist area, which means prices are a bit high compared to some other beer shops in Belgium. Also some of the stuff in the window looked like its been there for quite a while, so I said no when they tried to sell me a westy 8 from there. So they went into the backroom to get some that haven’t been in the sun, for what looks like years.

Claims to have 250 belgian beers but the shelves looked a bit empty. Not that I counted, but I have a hard time believing there were 250 beers there still. The bottles in the window has obviously been there a looong time with their sunbleached labels. Prices seems to be at tourist level and there weren’t anything on the shelves that is hard to find. You might as well pop in if you are in the area, but don’t expect too much.
