Not quite as good as AV #3 with the craft brews available, but a solid place to go. Location is at corner of Cedar and 42, but it is in a strip mall that may be hard to notice. AV #3 is a stand alone building and much bigger.

Pretty solid store - decent selection of bombers and 6-packs, and a larger shelf of imports. They keep their beers on shelves and in coolers. Not much in the way of 12-oz singles, or anything terribly rare, but they’ll have most of the more common craft brews that the distributors are kicking around. I did find some goodies like Unibroue 2004 Edition, Sierra/Dogfish Life & Limb, and about five Dieu du Ciel brews.

This place is pretty great for craft beer. It’s a little snug but that’s because there is so much stuff to fit into the store. Nice selection of bombers and craft brews (shelf and in coolers). I asked someone to help find some lucky bucket and the guy took me right to it. Also showed some similar beers to what I was purchasing in case I wanted to try something different as well. Have most of the new to the market brews, as well as the stand-bys. Price point is on par with the metro area.

classy atmosphere, nice selection of craft beers - perhaps the best prices in the entire mpls st.paul metro area. much cheaper than blue max about a mile away, although max is the king for selection.

Paid a quick visit...not a bad beer store by any means, but nothing to make me think ’wow, I really need to go back here next time I’m up here’...had the standard Surly fare, and a few different Belgians. Remember seeing Celebrator Doppelbock, some Avery goods, and other nice beers...friendly folks at the register as well. Good place for a quick visit to grab some decent brews! Bonus point for carrying The Onion!

Very attractive place to buy liquor. Friendly staff combined with an above average selection make a great place to visit consistently.
