This is the place I find myself coming back to whenever I’m in Aarhus. The previous ratings really say it all: Ten taps nine of which with mostly interesting Danish microbrew (typically some Mikkeller, Amager, Ugly Duck and others like Beer Here, HornBeer, To Øl, Croocked Moon and Evil Twin) and one international tap. Staff are YMCA/YWCA volunteers and very forthcoming and approachable. You get free samples and can buy a five glass tasting kit (I believe it’s around 1 dl of each beer) for a very reasonable price. Outside of the Studenterhus I have yet to find a better place serving microbrew in Aarhus. Limited seating but in the afternoon it’s rarely busy. This can change on the few occasions (Fri/Sat), when they have live music. Food is mostly sandwiches and snacks.

Cool bar in Aarhus with interesting beers on tap and bottle. There is ten taps, 9 with danish beer and 1 international. The staff is volunteers, so some of them don’t really know anything about the beers, but they offer you tastings before you order. Have fun/good/cool beer events through out the year

their sample tray is well worth it and their bottle selection is ’fairly’ broad.

A cosy little place - more a cafe than a bar. Can get a little crowded. Very good beer selection both on tap and bottles. Some of the staff know what they’re talking about when it comes to beer - some don’t. Definitely worth a visit.

A fantastic place with a wide selection of beer. The bar is very small, and when they sometimes have a band playing it is very loud, and hard to hear anything else. But the beer and fairly low prices makes up for it :-)

Small mellow place that feels more like a cafe than a bar. friendly staff, 10 beer on tap all craftbeers and a nice bottle selection. The best place I visited in Århus

Best beer bar in AAR. 99% Danish micros. With 10 on tap and solid selection of bottles. Very Danish style, relaxed and more cafe than pub atmosphere. Good live music some nights. Be sure to look for Raasted a regional Jutland brewery.

There are no great bars in Aarhus, but this is surely among the best. The staff is friendly, but most of them know very little about the beer they serve. Prices are very low. They have a good selection of Danish beer and they change their lineup regularly. They have now added a single tap reserved for foreign beers. The interior is very cafe-like and that’s not a good thing in my book. They occasionally host tastings with interesting brewers.

Cosy cafe with voluntary and friendly service, where profits goes to various fair trade projects. Committee almost exclusively Danish micros, but there is always a few foreign guest appearances on tap.

Modern designed bar in Aarhus. Went there after a concert with Mew, so I really enjoyed the place. They focus on some of the best of danish breweries (Mikkeller, Beer here amager etc). A nice selection of danish bottles and some okay taps. The crew did not know anything particular about the beers, but they were nice indeed.
