Tskjernov (3), Harlev J, Denmark does not count - explanation | | July 28, 2009 Great beer card - the place is to small. Got Vestvleteren. | chrisv10 (9), , Denmark does not count - explanation | | June 10, 2009 [ Updated June 22, 2009 ] Several beers on tap and a nice bottle selection. A nice place. | Habanero (2), Tranbjerg, Denmark does not count - explanation | | July 13, 2008 A very exceptional place. It’s like going back to the 60 or 70TH. Except for mobilephones and Macs. They are specialiced in belgian brews, so I miss danish and american micros. The service is somewhat uninspired and lazy. But the ambiance is great. | | Bragesnak (67), Aarhus, Denmark | | March 25, 2008 Nice odd place
Lots of bottles and some nice taps
Missing that they dare to include som new danish micros | | fiulijn (198), Como; Lausanne (CH); Malmö (SWE), Italy | | February 5, 2008 Very solid selection, among which the 3 Westvleteren (85DKK), cosy place, nice music, Wi-Fi (but too smokey and too dark). Waterpipes available. Anyway, I like it! | | mowerbyte (18), Aberystwyth, Wales | | March 18, 2007 Pleasant relaxed place, but as everyone notes, bar prices in Denmark are so astronomical that it rather takes the shine off an evening down the pub. | | TheDog (24), Aarhus, Denmark | | February 26, 2007 [ Updated May 29, 2007 ] Update may 2007: Even fewer beers now than at my last visit. Hancock and leffe being the "greatest hits" at this bar. Way to many belgian brews and no english. To few danish microbrews. The service being too interested in girls and the person behind the desk, didn´t know much (anything?) about beer. | | chriso (161), London, England | | December 5, 2006 Pretty much agree with the other reviews. Nice place with a great atmosphere but the beer selection, whilst decent, was a bit uninspiring. The bottled Begian selection is solid but there’s not really anything I couldn’t get at home, so there’s not much attraction in paying Danish bar prices for them. More Danish microbrews would have been appreciated. Ended up having a Hancock Black Lager and a St Feuillien Brune (which I’d not had on draught before) and that was about it. | | Theis (80), , Denmark | | September 23, 2006 I like this place, hasn’t changed in 2 years. Not even the selection - but here that is ok. The selection is not overwhelming, but OK. The service is pleasant. The location / ambience is very nice. I don’t think people comes here for the beer, that is just a bonus. I will be back. | | henrikb (14), Aarhus, Denmark | | April 22, 2006 I like Ris-Ras a lot, it has a great atmosphere. Great in the summer when they open the door, it gets a bit smoky during winter. The beer selection changes very little, they have 14 draughts and only on of them changes once in a while (it has been Anchor Porter since before Christmas). Somehow the quality of the draught beer has gone drastically down, and you often get a beer that is “broken” (as late as today I had a sour Anchor Porter). Somehow Ris-Ras is not really a beer bar, it is more like a bar with a great atmosphere and a lot of different beer. |
