| boomerbrew (14), Texas | | May 22, 2009 I love to go to BJ’s. The Harvest Hefewiesen is the best (highest) I’ve rated so far. I’ve also tried the sampler, just not a fan of the heavy beers porters/stouts; but thats just me. the blonde and Jarimia red are good beers too. I just wish the prices were more reasonable. | | Cavie (80), Fort Worth, Texas | | March 16, 2009 Not a bad brewpub, for what it is. Pretty nice place with bar and restaurant seating. Usually have 8 or 9 of their own brews on tap, not sure about any further selections. Pizzas and burgers are their best bets, with specials on mini pizzas on sunday nights. If not on special, their prices can be a little high. Lots of big screens in the bar area. | | Cornfield (143), Oak Forest, Illinois | | January 20, 2007 I grabbed a motel room a short distance away soze I could walk there and stumble back later. Decent food served in a wood-laden Rock Bottom atmosphere. The servers seemed to know their beers, but were serving Duvahls rather than Duv’ls. Their own brews were respectable. Not a bad joint for eats and beers with plenty of decent guests on tap and in bottles. | | chef201atc (17), Weatherford, Texas | | December 20, 2006 17 taps including 10 of their own (counting a cider and root beer). Other taps included Sierra Nevada Celebration Ale, Saint Arnold Christmas, Chimay Tripple, and Lindemans Framboise. Had a bottle list of 12 Belgians including Chimay, Duvel, Oval, Maredsous, Saison Dupont, Scaldis. Large open dining area, nice long bar. I didn’t eat, but I’ve heard the food is great. It wasn’t too crowed at 5:00 PM on a Tuesday. |
