High end wine store. Smallish-medium beer selection but great quality. $4 Asheville 22s. Very friendly staff.

Beautiful WINE shop. Help seems a little militant, almost like if you are not an attractive woman, rich business man or a wino you are wasting their time. If you are looking for beer go else where.

Well located in downtown Asheville but seems to cater more to high-end wines. The three workers were too interested in some paper on the register than me perusing the rather weak beer selection. Save yourself a trip and go to Bruisin’ Ales instead.

I probably wouldn’t have stopped here if not for the fact that it is right next to the public lot where I parked. Also it’s about 3 doors down and across the street from Barley’s, which makes it convenient. Not a huge beer selection, but what they have is thoughtful. You will probably find a couple of oddballs here you won’t find anywhere else. The prices were pretty good and the people were very nice and very helpful. Worth a stop if you have the time.

Very spacious and somewhat upscale wine place. The selection of beers was not extensive, but they did have a few beers that I did not see elsewhere, even at bruisin’ ales. Prices were about average. Staff was friendly and actually knew some about beer. Worth a peek to score something unusual for the area.

Stopped in during a morning stroll through town looking for some wines/champagne. Great service - the guy showed us around for a while and we chatted about different wines and champagnes. Small beer selection but nice cheaper bottles than Bruisin’ Ales (Chimay, Tripel Karmeliet as examples). We paid for stuff and then came back later to pick it up, which was nicer than lugging it around.

As jmichael says, its a wine store with a little section devoted to beer. Some pretty typical craft brew stock, but really lacking on the locals. No Duck-Rabbit! This will soon be remedied. FIne for what it is, but their are better options in Asheville.

a wine store with some beer. some good glass selections though, but when I asked about some remidial stuff this "wine" guy acted like he knew, but he did not know what he was talking about....

Lots o’ wine and about 200 beers. Nice, knowledgeable folks and a laid-back atmosphere. Only complaint is some are only available in sixes.

Good store with a ton of wine and some interesting looking cheese. The beer selection is worth looking at, with some Belgian and regional stuff and a few everchanging things mixed in. I always stop by when in Asheville just to see what they have.
