| Guyute_Pig (39), Black Mountain, North Carolina | | March 13, 2012 Similar selection to what you would find at your average whole foods. Their prices tend to be pretty good. Decent selection, some bombers (locals, bells, founders, etc..). Great grocery store. | | Drake (295), Charlottesville, Virginia | | February 27, 2012 Hmm... thought I had rated this. Oh, well, I will now. This is a natural grocery store, and its a nice one, comparable to an older but well run Whole Foods. Fairly large. I didn’t eat here but the food smelled good as I walked by and their cafe was full of people, so it must be well regarded. Prices were a little above average. Customer service was nice. Nice beer selection with a lot of NC beers but a smattering of American and foreign stuff as well. I wouldn’t go out of your way but if you are in the area or you need some food that won’t poison you it’s a nice place. | | DiarmaidBHK (307), Pennsylvania | | December 22, 2011 A local version of the whole foods chain, the selection here is the equivalent of what the local Whole Foods sells. They also don’t sell anything overly processed so theirs no BMC to speak of which is nice. They have a nice bomber selection with a good selection of local and Belgian Brews. They also have a fair amount of their beer in the refrigerator. I wish they had a bigger pick-six selection although they have a number in the coolers. All in all it’s a pretty good selection for a neighborhood grocery store. |
