A brewery tap room tucked in a corner of the facility. They have live music many nights. It’s a good place to try some good beers.

It’s nearly impossible to find, but once we got there, we had a good time in the tasting room. It’s really just a section of the warehouse style production brewery with 3 or 4 tables, darts, and 6 of their beers on tap. As this is more of a production brewery, they didn’t offer anything that’s not available in bottles around NC, but their beer is solid enough...not great, but much better fresh on tap than some bottles I’ve come across in Durham.

Kinda typical of some breweries with a tasting room. Very industrial, small hodge podge of chairs. Taster available, I think they had 5 out of a normal 6 on tap plus a cask.

Didn’t look too promising from the outside - just a small industrial unit. Inside was a small bar in the corner and a stage for the band, all slap bang in the middle of the brewery. We got a seat as we arrived soon after they opened but it got more crowded by the time the band started up. The 5 beers on tap were OK but unspectacular and the vibe was quite good. We didn’t stay the duration we had come from Biltmore and had to drive back into town. All in all, a worthwhile and enjoyable experience.

The ambiance, such as it is, warehouse-esque, which actually kinda adds to the charm. Very much a DIY attitude here, with a makeshift stage and bar. The Bride had the sampler, I had the Rye-Hopper. All beers were fresh and tasty and the service was reasonably attentive without being overbearing. Cool place.

This place felt like a cross between a barn and a country bar. The beers are a little step above average, and most all of them still have a ’home-brew’ quality to them. The lighting is so dim that it makes rating the appearances difficult. But The people are what make this brewery special. You can tell these guys really care about their beer. My waiter, Trip, wasn’t terribly knowledgable about the beers (he did know enough to guide me through their sampler), but was extremely congenial. What Trip lacked in knowledge, Chris, the assistant brewer, certainly made up for. He came in and answered all my questions. Very nice guy - Even hooked me up with a bottle of ESB to share with my co-workers in Nashville! I look forward to visiting them again.

Came here as part of a tour and thought it was the best place we went to. We had a small tasting with the head brewer (he was very patient with my home brew questions) and got to hang out, listen to a good band and sample some really good beers. A must stop while in Asheville.
