very cool bottleshop in Astoria . Not the biggest , but they really concentrate on selling craftbeer , withoud being a taproom , a restaurant, a bar , or anything else . Very nice prices, selection is nice. the people might not know as much as youíd prefer , but the selection is nice enough to forget that . The only place I saw where hopslam was not even limited, and they had it way longer than other places that put a 1 - 6 bottle limit on that stuff . I liked it and returned for more the very same week that I discovered it

Stopped by only because someone at work had a keg to pick up and I tagged along ... $150 later (which is great for me), I walk out with a rather nice selection with some. Not a huge, huge selection, but what they have is decent and priced to buy.

Nice little warehouse like store. Decent selection that included a ton of BCS, Founders Bolt Cutter, and Frangelic Mountain which sold out in like one day back in Chicago. Definitely worth a stop if you are restricted to Queens.

Great selection, I found some beers from Stone Iíve never even heard of, plus Schlenkerla Eiche, which I canít find anywhere. Good prices for New York City too, though probably expensive by objective standards. Service is pretty good, when the keg ran out with my growler half full, they gave it to me half price and didnít give me any trouble about it or anything. I been in Astoria four years and just noticed this place, it seems Iíve been missing out.

This is a beer warehouse/distributor in the New Beer mold that has seriously upped their game. The owners informed me they underwent a major renovation in the Summer 2011, and it shows! Decent sized beer room now with lots of domestic craft beers from across the country. Selection went beyond the staples of a brewery (ex: had much more for Cigar City than Maduro and Jai Alai, such as Bolita Brown). Import selection was smaller but still solid with representation of the globe. Prices on bottles ranged from fair to slightly inexpensive for NY. Growler offerings were a bit pricier.
This is a poor manís New Beer-- a VERY poor manís New Beer-- but this may now be the go-to place for domestic craft beer in Astoria. Itís also the only place I can recall in Astoria with a lambic selection.
