Krogers bought out the old Lucky Dog store awhile back and now has most of their selection. Selection consist of a corner cooler with macro imports, a few bombers, and SA and Sierra along with a few other 6ers. There is also one shelf of warm 6ers, about 12 feet long, both sides full of popular micros and ciders. The grocery part is one of the better ones around. Now that Bella is closed this is about the only place to get craft beer except for that drive-thru on Richmond, what ever it is called, in Athens(not including Jackies). And this is where they have Beer Week in Ohio?

The Kroger in Athens, OH, recently expanded their craft beer selection quite a bit. From what I’ve seen, it might be the biggest in Athens, OH. Service is par for a Kroger. You ask them where the beer is, they’ll point you to it. I don’t expect Kroger employees to be craft beer experts, it’s a grocery store, but they are happy to help where they can. New this year, they have a big open cooler for building your own six pack. You can choose any 6 bottles in the stand, for a flat $10. A really nice convenience.
