Visited November 2017. Cool little pub in the main sorta downtown area in Athens. Depending on when you pop in, they tend to have a kick-ass taplist. There were a good amount of ticks for me when I was there, including a couple GA beers, which is what I was looking for. We sat at a table and ate. Food was average, honestly, as were prices - if not a touch high. Our server was knowledgeable when we ate and the next day when we hit the bar. Very friendly and a neat pub atmosphere. Will definitely stop next time in town and this place is borderline a destination stop.

Great little stop in Athens. Swung by following a business trip in Atlanta. Top notch service, good selection of locals and continentals. They serve halves, so you can get your ticks. Liberal with the ’trys’. Food looked good but I didn’t eat. Plenty of parallel/street parking and accessible by foot.

Extensive yap list with 5 oz pours available. Good food for a pub (I had trout). We also got to have the 4 terrapin single origin coffee stouts side by side. Earned its beer geek rep.

If you are in Athens, this is a great place to stop. 2 pages of taps, featuring many locals. Nice upscale bar food. Some of the best ribs I’ve had!

Went for Sunday morning brunch. Has a minimalist-hipster decor going on, with bare concrete floors, old repurposed doors and windows, and unadorned pine tables. The servers were very attentive and excited about the food and beer. The draft list is excellent, focusing on locals (lots of Terrapin and Creature Comforts), but with very good regional and national beers. The food was relatively simple, but well made and with a nice twist. The beer prices are fantastic, and even better with half pours. More than that, even the food and wine are very reasonably priced. This is a very nice bar, with good prices, a great draft list, and generally good vibe. I hope to be back soon.

Visited here in early April ’15. Excellent location in downtown Athens near the University of Georgia campus. Nice decor, not college-bar like, and not overly fancy - just comfortable. Service is prompt and efficient. Beer selection is varied. not huge, but enough to keep me occupied. Food is excellent, I recommend any of their fries for a shared appetizer. For dinner I had North Carolina trout with sides of grits and the best tasting mushrooms I have ever had - ’Garlic Crimini’ according to the menu. They also serve their beers in "half-servings’ for a little bit above half price, which is excellent for a sampler like me. Deserving of its lofty rating.

Great location in downtown Athens. Walk through a large dining area to get to the bar. It was fairly dead on a Monday night which was good for me. The had a nice tap list that focused on local and interesting brews. Crowd seemed to be a bit younger as it is a college town. Beer was served in correct glassware and service was quick. Prices were about average. Overall a nice place to have a beer.

Located in downtown Athens, easy to find, it has a lived-in and relaxing interior, the feel of a real neighborhood bar. Service is alert, helpful, and friendly but not overly friendly. Beer selection is quite impressive, emphasizing crafts, especially locals - plenty of Terrapin on hand! Food is very good, tasty and satisfying. You can get full servings, or halls if you want to sample quite a few beers without getting too full - or sloshed. A must if you live within even a few hours of Athens - and you don’t have to be a Dawgs fan, either.
