84 AMBIANCE 4/5 SERVICE 9/10 SELECTION 11/15 FOOD 8/10 VALUE 10/10 OVERALL 18/20 TracksideBeer (1) Medicine Hat, Alberta | April 18, 2013 Wow, we stumbled across this place by accident while looking for a liquor store in the area. Am I ever glad we did! I tried the milk stout, Hopgasm IPA and the bourbon barrel aged scotch ale. All of which were top notch. The wait staff, while still training, were incredibly friendly and what they didn’t know they were more than eager to ask for us. The food was brilliant. I had the antelope burger which was killer. We finished with a chocolate cake which was probably the best thing I’ve ever eaten. ever. Paired with the bourbon scotch ale... Joygasm. Cudos to you 5 seasons. I will be back. | 66 AMBIANCE 4/5 SERVICE 7/10 SELECTION 8/15 FOOD 8/10 VALUE 6/10 OVERALL 14/20 chinchill (17) South Carolina | March 11, 2013 The restaurant is spacious and airy with several distinct areas including a very appealing bar, several seating areas in the same large open space, a covered, outdoor beer garden, and a pool hall room with its own small bar. Serve their own in-house beers which vary from good to excellent, are served in proper glassware. Service is usually very good, and the food is dependably good, being upscale in both content and price. | 68 AMBIANCE 4/5 SERVICE 7/10 SELECTION 11/15 FOOD 7/10 VALUE 7/10 OVERALL 12/20 Drake (392) Ivy, Virginia | February 20, 2013 Located towards the back of a big, unwieldy shopping center. Brewpub chain feel, but fairly dark and woody. Nice vibe. The menu features some less than usual proteins, and I had an antelope dish which was solid. Beers were all solid with a couple of standouts. Prices are solid. Staff was nice, but I was with TBS who knows a lot of the staff here so I can’t comment on the normal customer experience. Overall pretty nice. | 78 AMBIANCE 5/5 SERVICE 8/10 SELECTION 10/15 FOOD 8/10 VALUE 6/10 OVERALL 16/20 aobecksy (21) Middle of no where, Ohio | February 20, 2013 Great place easy to find...great food, nice atmosphere, small but excelent selection...real class act | 76 AMBIANCE 4/5 SERVICE 8/10 SELECTION 12/15 FOOD 6/10 VALUE 8/10 OVERALL 14/20 deyholla (200) Oklahoma City, Oklahoma | September 15, 2012 Have stopped in a few times for a drink and/or food. Usually 10 taps on that seem to rotate semi frequently as well as a few bottles for sale. Food I have had has been fine but nothing out of this world. Service has been fine, but never been in when it has been busy. Prices are nice. | 84 AMBIANCE 4/5 SERVICE 8/10 SELECTION 12/15 FOOD 8/10 VALUE 8/10 OVERALL 18/20 PaulUnwin (96) Pinellas Park, Florida | August 26, 2012 Very nice brewpub, plenty og good beers and nice to try their tasters/flights. Food was above the normal bar food and the service was pretty good for a busy lunchtime before the Atlanta Rare Cask Tasting!! | 90 AMBIANCE 5/5 SERVICE 9/10 SELECTION 12/15 FOOD 9/10 VALUE 8/10 OVERALL 19/20 daknole (300) Scottsdale, Arizona | July 1, 2012 The first 5 seasons I ever went to. I really loved this place. The reserve bottles are awesome. Nice taps, great service. Love it. | 82 AMBIANCE 5/5 SERVICE 8/10 SELECTION 11/15 FOOD 9/10 VALUE 7/10 OVERALL 17/20 markwise (157) North of Tampa, Florida | February 14, 2012 This place was pretty cool. The restaurant itself was open and airy with lots of natural light. Sampled most of the beers they had between our whole table, and they had a few really solid beers like the helles and the hopgasm. The service was decent, the lady at the bar poured us all samplers, and returned periodically to check on our beers. The food was very enjoyable- homemade veggie burger with a wonderfully thick pretzel. A bit pricey, but a very worthwhile dining experience, especially during the time of the cask fest. | 70 AMBIANCE 4/5 SERVICE 7/10 SELECTION 10/15 FOOD 9/10 VALUE 5/10 OVERALL 14/20 ck1 (32) Illinois | January 3, 2012 Very interesting place. Huge inside (and our waiter Big Ken was huge as well) but nice atmosphere. Hard to find searching only by address, but we are unfamiliar with area completely. I would say this is leaning towards an upscale restaurant that happens to make its own beer. Food was excellent but pricey. Beers all above average, with the Dunkel being the best of the four we managed to have. At times hard to get service, but it was a busy Friday night. Absolutely worth another visit. | 78 AMBIANCE 4/5 SERVICE 8/10 SELECTION 12/15 FOOD N/A VALUE N/A OVERALL 15/20 alagnak (51) Littleton, Colorado | December 5, 2011 Cool, very out-of-place (in a good way) find in the cookie-cutter higher-end-strip-mall desert that is this part of Atlanta. Despite the afore-mentioned cool high ceilings/modernized wood interior, it maintains a nice cozy pub feel to it. All the beers I tried (3-4) were good to very good. Food menu looked quite good, but all I had time for was a pretzel - and it and the cheese/mustard schmear that it came with were kind of a mess (which is surprising for something that simple). Didn’t want to ding them on that since the rest looked really good.
If you’re in this part of atlanta, well worth a stop or 2. |
