60 AMBIANCE 3/5 SERVICE 6/10 SELECTION 9/15 FOOD N/A VALUE 6/10 OVERALL 12/20
Stopped in here on my way back home. The terminal B location is more of a restaurant than the terminal A location. Both offer food, but this one has more tables set up for people to eat at. The other has more bar areas and most people were only drinking there. Neither does flights of beer, but they will allow you to sample up to three for free. With six beers on tap, I ended up trying two samples and getting a pint at each place. Service was alright. The server at terminal B definitely seemed more annoyed with me than anything, but I left her a nice tip for not being too bad and getting me samples I didnít have to pay for. I donít know how often I will end up in the Atlanta Airport, but if I did and they had something new, I would stop in here to try it. Otherwise, I would stick to the coffee and food options available in the airport.

Service was pretty good. Selection was pretty much what you could find in most liquor or grocery stores in Georgia. They had two beers I had never heard of, but both were out (of course). Didnít eat there, so I canít comment on that. Price was pretty steep for what it was, beer wise.

Decent bar atmosphere with good staff. Beer prices and quality were pretty good. Food and food prices were horrible. Considering the good food in this airport I am surprised at the crap they served. Drink here and eat elsewhere.

An acceptable stop for beverages in ATL. While the food may be good, all I needed was a beer on this layover, so Motor Boat it was. Friendly staff and prompt service.

I had a layover in this airport... for 6 hours. In those 6 hours I managed to walk up and down every terminal, get a place tick, try some 420 Pale Ale, and get food poisoning at the Fridayís (or Chiliís or some piece of crap). I should have just gone in here when I first started wandering since when I did finally arrive several planes had just landed and the place was packed. Service was very slow, naturally. Prices were kind of steep, naturally. The place was impossible to navigate with the suitcases everywhere, naturally. I guess if youíre stuck in this airport for 6 hours then stop here and have a beer but several of the other bars in the very same airport have some of the Sweetwater beers (granted only one or two of the more popular ones) and without as much of the hassle.

Took a short trip over from my terminal to check this place out. Bartender was friendly - I had a couple beers and a bowl of chili. Glad I opted to go here instead of the Sam Adams bistro at my terminal.

Hardly waited to visit it before my Costa Rica adventure. Itís a small brewpub, neat, but it seems everytime you need to wait in the queue. Anyhow, no problem, itís worth of it. Staff could be more friendly, although I donít have anything special against them, maybe some charm was missing. Beer is great, if could only try all of them...

A pleasant surprise find in the Atlanta airport. Coming from Mnpls and not having Sweetwater brews available there, and finding a couple of highly rated Sweetwater brews on tap like the IPA and the RyeIPA, I didnít feel totally jipped to be paying $6.50 for a pint. Small bar with a couple rows of small 2-person tables. Cramped and packed, even at 11am on a Friday. The overall rating is unfortunate in that it scores poorly from ambiance and value perspectives, but scores highly in service. The draft selection is small (6), and one of the taps was out, which is unnacceptable for a breweryís draft house with only 6 selections (one of which is Coors Light). But I didnít hammer it too much on selection because there were 4 different Sweetwater brews on, at least two of which were highly rated. Had the chilli with my beer, which was reasonably priced $7.70, but undersized (the bowl of chili) although there was a heaping pile of tortilla chips. Something seemed slightly off about my IPA (tap line issue?), but overall, for an airport brewpub there are few better that Iíve found.

It is so nice to have a good option for beer in an airport. All the standard lineup is available with one tap that rotates for the seasonals.Prices are obviously too high just like every airport bar in America. The terminal B location has more space but seems to have more foot traffic based on my two trips here. The terminal A location has a smaller menu and less space, but the same beers. It found it easier to get a seat at Terminal A. Either way, Sweetwaterís draft houses are the prime option for having a beer in this airport.
