| Cybercat (92), Georgia | | June 13, 2011 I was surprised by the number of beers they have on hand. I have been in liquor stores that did not have such variety. They emphasize craft brews, and especially organic beers. You can get cases, six-packs, variety packs and singletons. Their main emphasis is on wholesome, healthful food, so you do need to look for the beer section - but it is worth finding. I’m confident they have some varieties I have yet to sample. Next time you want to get a health food fix, go here and grab some cold ones to go with your granola and almond milk. ;) | | osu97gp (29), Atlanta, Georgia | | February 27, 2009 Decent sized beer cooler and also a create your own six pack cooler in a different area of the store. They have some of the local micro’s and in true Whole Foods fashion, what appeared to be a decent selection of organic beers. The fresh food is what makes this place worth visiting. | | unclemattie (112), Georgia | | August 14, 2006 This is an OK place in ATL to buy beer. it is abetter for food at this location... THIS LOCATION HAS VERY LIMITED SPACE FOR THEIR BEER CASE. I have never had anyone offer to help me locate anything or just talk to me, period. Service Sux! Food selection is the best, Well, it is a whole foods. I do enjoy the private label beer the sell as well. | | harlequinn (112), Tacoma, Washington | | January 12, 2006 Super nice guys that run the beer and wine department here and are more than willing to do speical orders for you. Does not mean they will carry it but they will do their best to get it in. | | PorterPounder (219), Tallahassee, Florida | | October 28, 2005 Above average selection for a grocery store, but then Whole Foods is not your average grocery store. Good selection of Belgians, Germans and a few Brits. Not an overabundance of micros though but about the same as the local liquor stores - must be the same distributors. Still, worth the visit if in the Perimeter area. I was able to snatch up a bottle of the 25th Anniversay Ale brewed by North Coast here - good stuff! |
