majorchaz (3), Augusta, Georgia does not count - explanation | | February 5, 2011 The Mushroom is a great place for pizza, and it has a fairly good selection of microbrews on both tap and in bottle. | | beernovice39 (146), South Carolina | | October 6, 2009 [ Updated October 6, 2010 ] Depending on the night you may get Dead Guy on draft for $2 or Red Seal or Terrapin. Decent selection (for Augusta) but nothing outstanding. Edit: Rogue Oatmeal Stout $6 a bomber = NICE! | | swoopjones (190), Buffalo, New York | | April 13, 2009 Good pizza. Decent selection (Terrapin, Sweetwater) sammmy smith bottles, some belgians. Brushetta was good as was the Meatlovers pizza. Good selection for Augusta I imagine | | Goldorak (112), Montreal, Quebec | | October 21, 2008 I haven’t had a decent Beer in days, my exam was over and it was time to celebrate. This was the closest place from my hotel to have any craft Beers. Laid back pizza place decor, reminded me a bit of Pizza Port, but replace the surfer stuff with hippie stuff. A few intersting pieces of art here and there. I sat at the bar facing parts of an old WV van used to decorate the walls, not too far from the fridges and taps. About a dozen taps, some not too interesting but it was plenty better than the rest of the area’s bars. Sweetwater 420 did the job just fine. Lots of bottle selections, but nothing really caught my eye - almost nothing local - so I stuck with pints. Barmaids spent most of their time chatting with locals, however I never got caught with an empty pint, they were always around just before I was dry. Pizza was good, not the best ever but certainly above average quality and value. If you’re downtown and don’t have a car, this is pretty much the only place to get craft Beer within walking distance. | Quiver (3), Augusta, Georgia does not count - explanation | | January 19, 2006 For Augusta, this place is great. Not the best beer selection, but the best food/beer combo. on tap that typically have Deadguy, new river, paulner and about 7-8 other brewes | | bu11zeye (113), Frisco (Dallas), Texas | | October 28, 2004 Good place to have a pizza and try some microbrews. |
