The place has a good feel and was busy while we were there. The waitstaff were nice and efficient and fairly beer knowledgeable. The pizzas were very good, the salads and kids meals were fine. There were 5 beers on tap, 2 of them stouts. The 2 wheat based beers, including the watermelon/basil wheat, were fair at best. The IPA quaffable, but not excellent. There were 5 guest beers that we did not try.

To defend my extremely low rating of this establishment, I have been coming here for over a year, long before their upgraded equipment, and this venue has changed significantly. Being a homebrewer and supporter of small local breweries, I was pleased to find this gem in my neighborhood when I moved in. At that time, the brewers and owners were accessible and eager to engage the patrons, whether discussing their homemade dough, or beer recipes. Then came the upgraded equipment and drinking games. Since their upgrades, the beer has been mediocre at best, the staff and owner (dad) are busy playing beer games (indoor jenga much like 1up), the staff are distracted from customer service while taking shot skis, and the owner also sits at the bar playing online poker on his phone. I went in today for the super bowl to find only 5 taps flowing. Of those, only two were their beers. Of their two beers, the toffee porter was pouring head only and they were forced to pour pitchers and let them settle. Of the commercial beers, one was Coors Banquet. Gone seem the days of brewhouse management and quality, small batch, creative beers! Needless to say, I donít think Iíll be going back.

Located in one of those town center thingies, I arrived as new and larger brewing equipment was being delivered. They were going for a bit of a post industrial look on the inside. They had 6 of their own on tap and 5 guest taps. The beers I had were solid but not spectacular. Itís nice to see the locals embrace the place but itís not exactly a destination kind of place.

Looks like production will be increasing soon, as a new, larger fermentation tank was sitting in the dining room waiting to be installed. They had 5 of their own beers on tap plus another 5 guests, all from Great Divide, I think. The mini strombolis ("Bombers" and "Poppers") were tasty. Hot mustard served with the Italian sausage was outstanding.

A small pizzeria and brewery tucked nicely within a huge shopping area with about a dozen or so other restaurants. There were 4 house beers and 4 guest beers on tap during my visit; their beers were average to really good. The food was very good, utilizing fresh ingredients and offering a nice selection. Our service could have been better as the waitress questioned everything we ordered, with questions like "you know the jalapenos are hot?" Well, I certainly hope they are, that is what they are supposed to be. At any rate, I will certainly go back; the food was well worth the visit and the Black IPA was really nice.

(Visited 07/2011): Dad & Dudeís is at the crossroads of Arapahoe and S Parker Rd on S Cornerstar Way which could cause some GPS issues. It is located in a winding complex of roads in a plaza. Parking is abundant in the surrounding area.
The inside features a short bar on the left side with table seating elsewhere. There is a chalkboard by the bar listing what beers they have available.
As for the beer selection, Dad & Dudeís has 7 house beers including a Brown, Pale, Agave Brown, and Imperial Stout among others. All of the beers are decent with Rapture Imperial Stout being my favorite of the bunch. There are a few guest taps as well featuring some regional brewers like Elk Mountain and Great Divide. Samples are available for all the beers. I did not note any bottled options.
Service at the bar on a weekday late afternoon was pretty good. The bartender did not seem overly passionate about beer but was friendly and attentive.
I did not try any food on the visit, although the pizza looked good.
Overall this place doesnít seem to celebrate their beer as much as others but it is still a good option for a brew and pizza in the area.

First place on my trip to Denver, could have been worse. They only do half barrel nano batches and have 3 on ata atoms. Also had a few other locally brewed beers as well, though nothin too surprising. The beers and lines seemed in good shape and they have cheap flights of anything on tap and great happy hour deals. Food is decent, had a sandwich an the pizza looked good. Not a bad place, just kind of in the middle Iíd nowhere.

A fine restaurant with a semi urban feel to it that actually fits itís menu and location perfectly. The pizza we had was outstanding, just a little on the pricy side. A tasted flight is fair priced, and a pint is only $4, so its pretty reasonable. The only nag I have, like everyone else, is the selection. They only had 2 of their own brews on tap, supplemented by a decent CO tap selection. Their brewing operation is just too small. Theyíre a restaurant first, with nano-brewed beer for funsies on the side. So donít go expecting to find more than 3 of their own selection. But again, great pizza.

OMG....this place is a joke. I have been here three times now trying to actually get one of their brews. Only once have they had one of their own on tap. It was the Coffee stout and was pretty good. But one out of three attempts and only one brew on tap. Get your act together. Also donít ever try the Jamaican Jerk Pizza. It was quite possibly the worst pizza I have ever had in my life. Less cloves people. Service wise it is was always pretty busy so I try to be understanding. But two of the three times they never asked my wife for a refill on her coke (she does not drink) and getting them to remember anything about your order is like pulling teeth. The pizza and beer is a nice gimmick especially with the idea of the yeast being used to make the pizza. But if you want pizza or beer I would just go across the street to Old Chicago and you will have a better experience.

Came here because I happened to be in Aurora, but it still took me forever to get to the place because I keep forgetting how freakiní huge Aurora is - located in one of those huge shopping plazas built to look like a little town that seem to have become popular over the last five years - nice, casual atmoshpere - semi-urban, loft feel with a lot of exposed industrial-looking stuff, but it still manages to be fairly cozy inside - it was jumping on an early Saturday evening - small bar area facing a window where you can watch the brewing operation, which is very small - they are brewing in what looks like 5 or 6 gallon batches and fermenting in carboys, so this is essentially a homebrewing operation attached to a restaurant (a nano-brewery restaurant?) - there are pluses and minus to this - the downside is that they only have about two beers on at once, and at the rate they were pouring, I am sure they go fast - the plus side is that you are assured that your beer is crazy fresh - saw seven carboys in total, all labeled as different beers, so the brewer seems to just be having fun making whatever the hell he wants to - it doesnít look like they have any room to expand the operation, but they donít seem to care too much about that - about 8 other local beers on tap from dry dock, rockyard, avery, etc. - they apparently use the spent grains in the pizza crust, so props for being "green" - the pizza is old-world brick oven style, which is actually a welcome change of pace, since most places in the metro area try to pull of NY style, and most fail miserably at it - pints were four bucks and pizzas were reasonably priced - in short, it is a very interesting place, with decent food, fairly good beer, and a brewer that seems to be competent and semi-adventurous - I would probably stop in once a week if it were closer, just to see what kind of beer they were cranking out next.
