90 Visited Sunday 25th February 24, with Matthijs. We took an Uber out from Austin Downtown and then another Uber down to San Antonio, I recommend this. It was a sunny day, which was ideal for a visit, we got a table in the sun, the staff stored our cases and set about the beer menu, ordered a burger, then at 13.00 we did the brewery tour, which was only 10 bucks each, and included 4 pours of different beers, all were decent. The beers on tap were not extensive, but all decent, we also shared some cans. The bar only served full pours of some beers,,but the barmaid allowed us to share a large pour in two glasses. Pizza was also excellent. Loved it there, and recommend this as a must stop |
90 Located in the Texas Hill country on what looks like an old farmstead it’s definitely appropriate and sensible they do so many great farmhouse beers. Great beer, lors of selection, striking landscape, fun even at 105 degrees, what’s not to like? |
84 A classic in Austin, a must! Located in a farm setting on the outskirts of town, this place rocks. No inside seating, just an open barn which serves as shelter from the elements. Pizza looked good. Beers are solid to exceptional, especially the wild ones, and the prices are very reasonable, from 2.50 to 5$. Rent a car and go! ...and bring a designated driver! |
92 We came here 17.7.2022. Located 20 miles outside of Austin. It is a huge farm land with several barns and a nature trail you can walk before enjoying their beers. They exist for 11 years and just purchased the land and have big plans to grow more grapes and hops. In the main barn they had great live music. They are specialized in sour beers and won a few big awards already. Most of their beers are fermented spontaneously in a cool ship. We loved all we tasted including their IPA’s. The food ordering system is very modern and might be a challenge for some of their customers. A MUST VISIT when you are in the area . |
92 Not that far from Austin, but you'll need a car. Definitely worth the effort. Large ranch with plenty of space outside and inside. Great place for chilling. Plenty of JK beer on tap and solid bottle selection. Diverse in terms of beer styles and superb in quality. Friendly service. Tasty pizzas. A destination brewery. |
82 Lovely place outside of Austin in the Hill Country with a full on farm, make sure you take the tour. Very nice selection of taps and bottles to drink-in and take-away spread out over a couple of bars within that farm. Good menu of snacks and food like farmhouse pizza, there is even a small organic produce shop. Cant wait to go back and pet some more baby goats! |
90 Out in the hill country, so a bit of a destination from the city of Austin proper, but worth the drive. Farmhouse vibe is real, barns and outdoor beer halls, small bars and views of fields with goats and live oaks. Service is fantastic, everyone is super friendly and seems genuinely excited to be a part of the brewery, on top of being super knowledgeable about the beer. Selection is impressive, just about anything you could imagine in terms of what they have available, either to drink there or take with you. It's a destination brewery, and if you are in to the beer they are making, you're likely going to make the trip. Don't expect to be overwhelmed, but expect to be content for sure. |

88 Awesome outdoor space with world class beer. Not super convenient for visitors to the city but every time I'm in town I'll be there every day they're open (Fri-Sun) with bells on. Prices are great and food is as well. Definitely a must stop for any beer lover visiting or in the area. |
82 Ice house feel with the park bench layout, does a good job of handling crowds with the multiple pour stations, good selection of JK beers , difficult to get to. |
