 76 Popped in for a quick visit one morning, small brewery shop on the side of the hotel, a good number of different choices of bottles & cans to take away. The hotel bar looked a reasonable place to come & try a couple of their ales |

 76 I had lunch here with my family on the way to the Cairnryan fairy. The layout is over two rooms - a main bar and an area mostly for dining. As the home of Ayr Brewing there were 4 of their beers on tap - some staples plus a couple of newer brews. It’s always enjoyable to visit a brewpub and the cherry on the top of this one is that they have a shop at the back of the dining area is a shop where all Ayr plus some English beer can be bought. This looks a little like a work in progress and I suspect the range will increase significantly. Nice ambience and a good fish n chips too! The place for beer drinkers to visit in Ayr. |
 72 Visited on 13th Aug 2015. Solid building with the brewery to one side towards the rear. Sunny and warm, so we sat outside. Inside it was friendly and beery: four hand-pulls dispensing their own beers and some un-noticed keg lines I think. Beer quality was good, service with a smile and an all round fine experience. |

 68 The home of Ayr Brewing Company - very friendly bar staff and the quality of the beer is always good. Some rare cask beers from Ayr Brewing Company are sometimes available. There are 4 handpumps and occasionally a guest beer is available. |

 68 Brewpub visited during Scotland trip. Rather small, oldfashioned pub style, burning woodfire, old seating chairs, but lovely atmosphere, cosy, very friendly service, all (older) local people, interactive. Nice place to visit. |
