This is a nice, small neighborhood bar in the Canton area of Baltimore. The service can be quite good, but on one visit we were served by a particularly grumpy and inattentive blonde female. The food is good, but nothing really blew my socks off. Overall, very reasonably priced beer and food. This one is worth a stop if you are in the ’hood.

A great little neighborhood bar that loves Washington Capitals fans and has a great beer selection. The bottle count is off, as it seems to be the total of all their seasonal offerings. However, their draft selections are top notch--offering the dreaded Miller/Coors product line along side locals like Heavy Seas and Duclaw, regionals like Evolution, Dogfish Head, the Belgians and west coast microbrews like Stone. There is a mix of serious beer geeks (try weekday nights) and just quick/accurate pourers on their bar staff, so they really can’t go wrong. Their seared tuna dishes are amazing. I love this little bar and it’s a plus it’s close to home.

Very interesting building to put a bar in. It’s essentially two row houses in an affluent part of town down the street from Brewer’s Hill where the famous Natty Bo’ face remains lit all night. Brasserie decor with unusually low ceilings and a dark mahogany 270 degree wrap-around bar. Pretty standard offerings, but plenty to choose from. I don’t remember there being 200 bottles, so that’s false advertising. Menu is organized based on what the brewer classifies the beer style as. Lots of TV’s to watch the games and a lot of beer drinkers appreciating beers out of occasionally correct glassware. A lot was served in standard shaker glasses, which is unacceptable when you’re paying $10 for some of the harder-to-find drafts. Some bottles were fairly priced, while others were nauseatingly expensive. Didn’t try any of the food, so I can’t comment, but a lot of people seemed to be enjoying wings, as most the patrons were there to watch Sunday football in large groups. Nice cozy seating options and prompt service. Barkeeps didn’t appear to be beer geeks, but I can’t be sure. I didn’t ask too many questions as I’ve had nearly every beer they had available. Still, I would definitely come back here as it’s comfortable and convenient.
