3 reviews for The Bulldog
| TheDutchman (10), Louisiana | | November 3, 2009 Smoky nasty crowded place. The service is horrible because they are so busy and the bartenders would rather shake their rumps at the, as one rater put it, "Bud Light swilling crowd" than serve old fogies past the age of 25. There is a decent selection of beers here but between the horribly greasy food, which is almost as hard to order from the service window as the beer is from the bar, the crappy service, the crowd, and all the smoke I would find another place to go. | cgregory (3), Belchertown, Massachusetts does not count - explanation | | March 19, 2009 The new "beer bar" in town. It would have a nice atmosphere, if it weren’t always packed full of college kids shouting and swilling Bud Light. The service is hit or miss--I once lucked out and had a server ask me if I wanted my Duvel in a Chimay glass, which is a step up from their ubiquitous pint. The selection is rather disappointing, being that it’s the place with the most taps in town--yes, there are quite a few, but most are crap. The bottle selection is slightly better, but still doesn’t match other places in BR. The food is typical pub fare; i.e., greasy but good. Rather pricey. I’ve been 4-5 times with friends and have no desire to go back. | jfitz9 (1), , Louisiana does not count - explanation | | March 8, 2009 Excellent atmosphere and decor, nice patio with heaters for cold weather. Dog friendly. Knowledgeable staff |
