A large space with dark wood that gives a dark feel to the place. Service was a touch slow. Selection has a number of Arcadia beers with a few draft only. Didn’t try the food on my visit, but it looked good. Prices were good.

When I was working over in Kalamazoo I went over to Battle Creek to visit Arcadia Br. for a saturday. The place was at that time halfway under restoration (probably better now). The place at lunch was almost deserted so I got to speak to the bar tender aboute the beers they had at the moment. Lots of american APA and IPA with some English style beers. The American beers were OK in their class but quite hoppy but the English were far to carbonated and much to hoppy to be anywere near an English ale.

I had been excited to visit Arcadia for a while, and when the day finally came, it was sort of a let down. The entire street in front was under construction, so parking in a town I’ve never been to sucked. The inside was not at all what I expected. Pretty boring decor, I like that you can see the brewing area, but better lighting and floor treatments would be nice. I’ll probably visit again, but not unless I’m hitting Bell’s and Dark Horse on either side.

interesting place that’s a bit of a mixed bag for me... the place itself is huge but a but ugly, drab, and the restrooms are disgusting... service was excellent, our server was the head brewers wife so we got a couple extra ticket since she noticed our beer attire, explanation of how they brew, about their house yeast strain used in all beers, and tips on other places to go, she really knew what she was talking about... good selection of 11 beers, only 2 of which i’ve had, but the selection was unbalanced with only one stout, and 9 hoppy beers... the food was average bar fare but they have great bbq sauce, don’t bother with the pizza.... enjoyed myself and would recommend

It took me awhile to find this place amidst the rubble that’s downtown Battle Creek – but I’m glad I did. I didn’t stay for long but the beer and food I had were tasty and the AC was a nice reprieve from the 95 degree day outside. Probably 10 house brews on tap and bottles of their year round offerings and a few other goodies were available. The inside was nice enough and you could watch the brewers at work through a large glass window.

Stopped by on a Saturday night. The food was great. My wife had the Pork Shank and it was the envy of the table. All of the beers were great and the waitress was able to speak in detail about each. We ended up with a table of about 20, and she also did a fantastic job of handling that. My only suggestion for improvement would be a that a real ale were on tap more consistently.

Stopped in while traveling with family. Nice big bar with cool views of the actual brewery. Most of the staff were very friendly. Nice selection of their own stuff of course and their beers are good to very good. Definitely worth a stop if you are in the area. I did not sample any food (but the smells were delicious!)

Big, dark room with a very heavy smokey aroma from the wood fired ovens - not at all unpleasant - but very apparent. The beers are excellent - especially Sky High Rye as well the food. Recommended.

Big, dark restaurant room with a large meandering bar in the back. Big windows along one side look in on the brewery operations. Nothing really unique or inviting about the space, but not uncomfortable. Nice selection of 9 or so beers on tap plus a couple cask options. Porter was not bad but he hoppy beers were the real standouts.
