Seems quite ambitious to be more than the usual schnitzel-and-knuckle-of-pork brewpub. Focus on their history as home of the woman who told all the fairy tales to the brothers Grimm. Obviously very popular sunday destination. Abundant servings, unthrilling quality. Their "Luxus Pils" is a regional benchmark.

The decoration of this place is a bit odd - more like an Autobahn gasthof than a brewpub. When we hit the place a lot of families and businessmen was there for lunch. 8 beers - 3 on draft and 5 in bottles. The food was good without being extraordinary and the waitress was very nice. A good place to stop along the way - but nothing to go out of your way to visit. The brewery itself was surprisingly big.
