As Pivnizub says: superb selection of Franconian small breweries, with the emphasis on the breweries not far away from Bayreuth. Cheap, helpful owner, enough parking space. Recommended!

I go there once a month, at least- the selection changes, he tries to store as many seasonals as possible, and during Bockbiertime, there is no better place in the region, surely not. Very reasonable prices, good selection, good location-what more can you ask for.....

Bigger, independent beer store not far from the Bayreuth Hauptbahnhof a bit like the Landbierdealer in Hof or the Landbierparadies in Nuremberg excellent, superb selection of franconian micros, rare beers and seasonals. Friendly, communicative and helpful owner. Worth a journey, especially if You refuse to attend all the beautiful franconian micro-brewers.........
